Long Lost Relatives in Sommerset
19.08.2014
Heather, Sally, Mum & me have just returned from an overnight trip to visit some long lost relatives in Crowcombe, Sommerset. We were thoroughly spoilt by Annie, Gerald & Pip the dog.
Gerald took us girls for a drive through the Exmoor National Park, it was great to have a local he knew where to stop, we saw Exmoor Ponies, Highland Cattle, goats, deer, Wales across the channel & so much more!

After a great fried breakfast Gerald took us for another drive, he got permission from the landlord to drive up the top of the hill behind Crowcombe and what a view!!! Unfortunetly for you I can't upload the panorama of the scenery .... Sorry but here's some pics of the view.
Just to rub it in, this is our lunch complete with clotted cream
A slight detour home to visit some relatives in Uplowman
We had a great time exploring the small graveyard.
Alison wanted to feature on the blog so she is showing you the size of a cider can : )
