Group shot at Angkor Wat

Our local guide showed us around the temple as we got our daily workout up & down steps, even got to see monkies.

A break for breaky before heading back out to visit Angkor Thom & Ta Prohm also in the Angkor park.

Pirates

Decided to visit the Grand Palace in Phnom Penh this morning, tagged along with some others from the group in a guided tour was interesting.

A 40min flight mostly over Tonle Sap Lake which we later took a cruise on to see a floating village. A little but if a disappointment actually but it is low season for the lake. The exciting but was the "pirates" felt a bit like a scene out of a Pirates of the Carribean, there you are casually cruising along & next thing you know the kids from the boat that just went past us on your boat trying to sell you drinks. At one point we had boats with snakes on either side & you can't help but want to give these people money, you see the way they live & it's worlds apart from our lives.

Tomorrow is the bug day, what we've all been waiting for.....no not the end (not ready for that is there a life outside this trip? Continuing on & redoing Vietnam has crossed my mind) .....it's Angkor Wat!!! 5am leave I'm not looking forward to but it's so going to be worth it.
