Purshall Hall

The last week has gone too quick!!! Last Monday I jumped aboard the Icelandair flight from Iceland to Birmingham where Heather picked me up & straight into my new role of HeatherCakes's assistant, home via Asta. The rest of the week has disappeared into more cake assistant roles, catching up with cousins, long walks with my three friends Fudge, Floss & Tig (with much disgust from Totty & Nellie) & just chilling where it's warm by the arga or fire. There was the Friday market at Worchester & Saturday saw us brave the weather (& scones with jam & clotted cream) at St Peters. Saturday night saw Alison & me head off to the Inkburrow Young Farmers Harvest Supper where I caught up with Catherine Jordan. Sunday Richard Annabel & I went to the Cotswolds so Annabel could compete in the team chase ( she was the only one in her team that finished). Here are some pictures from my stay so far at Purshall Hall

Long Lost Relatives in Sommerset

Heather, Sally, Mum & me have just returned from an overnight trip to visit some long lost relatives in Crowcombe, Sommerset. We were thoroughly spoilt by Annie, Gerald & Pip the dog.

Gerald took us girls for a drive through the Exmoor National Park, it was great to have a local he knew where to stop, we saw Exmoor Ponies, Highland Cattle, goats, deer, Wales across the channel & so much more!

I Heart London

We arrived in London Monday morning we've pretty much been in jumpers for the first time all trip, the weathers also changed we've had rain!

Here's our afternoon in London in pictures

We saw the amazing poppies at the Tower of London

We finally saw the monument up close but it's so covered by buildings it's disappointing

There was time to kill and we wanted to avoid the rain so we jumped on the HMS Belfast for a look

There was a trip to the top of The Shard/the View between showers

We topped off the evening with a trip to the theatre
