And like that your home again

The last week in England disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Annabel & Andrew were married on Saturday 16 June in a beautiful day (the weather wasn’t always so beautiful but the rain held off until we were all tucked away in the marquee). Us aussies wore our keep calm it’s the aussies shirts the Friday before causing numerous laughs.

With the wedding out of the way we took time to explore nearby which included returning to Jinny Ring for a look and the chance to explore nearby Hanbury Hall.

A trip to the UK is not complete without a trip to the Cotswolds and a cream tea in Broadway but to mix it up we took a look at Sudeley Castle.

And that’s a wrap from this trip, time to plan new adventures

Purshall Hall Days

Our days are fast disappearing, the next wave of Aussies arrive today the house is fast filling up. We’ve kept busy Fudge must have taught Floss all her tricks cause Floss hassles me to take her for walks so we know the drive very well I can have up to 4 dogs with me. There’s been cakes, lots of cakes this week, we’re currently at Webb’s for the market (were certainly not having a coffee & breakfast we are working hard. I helped with shearing for a few hours, went to Market in Ludlow with some cows yesterday which was interesting. Sally took mum & me on road trip down to Somerset during the week which was nice we stopped in at Dunster Castle which was a great place. We also stopped at the Bridgewater Cemetery and finally found the grave of my great great grandma. It’s wedding week so it’s all hands on deck, I’ve been busy stealing I mean deheading Heathers lovely roses for confetti.

Ghost in the night

We eventually arrived in Birmingham only 8 hours late Wednesday night and put straight to work.

Last night we had a little thunderstorm in the night. I woke up when it started to rain to shut the window but I laid awake listening for a little while when I hear footsteps, my first thought was it’s the ghost walking round. Huddled up against the wall thinking please don’t come in our room when I hear panting & something touch my bed, Flossy the dog doesn’t like thunder so she let herself in and decided ild save her.

Today was delivery day feels like we’ve been round & round in circles dropping cakes at various farm shops. The one in the picture is Bloomfield’s.
