Out and about in Reykjavik

Again the weather is grey & wet, but since when did that stop us........ Today we took a trip to the wild side, ok really we went to the zoo. It was nice to see the Icelandic domestic animals up close but other than that it wasn't too exciting.

We stepped through nature (& in some kindly left behind deposits from the ducks) as we strolled through the beautiful botanical gardens. The down side everything is labeled (not so bad) but the labels are a but of visual pollution & kind of over power the plants.

Coffee & cake at the top of the Perlan was a nice way to hide from the weather

I stepped inside Hallgrimskirkja instead if admiring it from our window, the beauty is mostly on the outside of the building. However I timed my visit well as they seemed to be practicing playing the giant organ, it was interesting to sit & watch.
