So today I went to America

Read on America trip at the end.

We woke up on the farm to discover our view in fog & mist but that didn't stop us, off we went on our last day of driving.

First stop the Geysir, we were lucky enough to see it go off several times, every time scaring me.

Next two stops were would you believe waterfalls both impressive. First up was Gullfoss the power behind it was amazing

Followed up by the less busy Flaxi

Our visit to the Blue Lagoon was slightly marred by the power plant in the background but the water was a beautiful blue. We didn't go for a swim, it did look inviting but even the basic package was overpriced at about $60 (that was basically entry and a drink, no towel or robe)

Now jumping continents I didn't really jet over to America we visited the Bridge Between Continents which is between the North American & Euroasia tectonic plates, all a bit of fun

Now we are back in Reykjavik for a few days (in a hotel with bad wifi in rooms but free hot choc) and this is right outside our window
